3. syyskuuta Two types of Air Pollution Smoking and driving cars are two types of air pollution in nowadays society. They are quite different in many ways.
For instance,to public, advertising of smoking is banned but of cars is allowed. Though smoking in public places is discouraged,driving cars still plays an important part in our modern lives.
To people's health,smokers suffer from diseases such as bronchitis or even lung cancer. However,drivers seldom fall ill from diseases resulting directly from driving.
The last difference is smokers blow poisonous gases into the air,conversely drivers are not accused of being the wrong doers.
 1. syyskuuta The first day of Senior ThreeThe new semester of Senior Three,it will be a hard term for all of us. Because we'll face the college entrance examination under one year later. The English teacher,Miss Guo,asked everyone to do three reading comprehension and one cloze everyday! It's so tough for me to finish that every day,I can't insist on it. How dark the day is! If we needn't study what we didn't want to,I would feel much happier...... my dream,my dear! 24. elokuuta Protect harmless animals Yellow-Eye penguins are very beautiful and harmless animals,but a few years ago,they were deprived of their natural habitat by people who also attacked their nests,broke the eggs and even killed them!! But fortunately,an owner of the farm created a sanctuary to protect them,soon,the population of penguins now numbers a couple of thousand.
I really can't understand how anyone could be so heartless as to kill these beautiful and harmless birds.But I am comforted that at least the farm,on that piece of wild coast,they can live in safe.
I,as an individual,can't do great things for the extinct animals like penguins,but I can tell people around me not to kill or attack them. All of us should try our best to keep the ecological balance.  |
